The Challange
Framtidsverket previously organized physical fairs in two cities in Sweden. However, they struggled to reach candidates in the rest of Sweden. Additionally, exhibitors found it challenging to measure the results of the fairs, apart from visibility.
The Solution
Framtidsverket began hosting virtual fairs in 2021, and the initial event was a tremendous success, attracting 10,000 registered candidates. Recognizing the potential to reach a much larger audience through digital fairs, they transitioned to this format and completely stopped doing physical events. The digital platform not only enabled them to expand their reach but also provided the flexibility to remain accessible throughout the entire year, offering ongoing support to both exhibitors and candidates, as opposed to the limited interaction during an annual event.
Implementation
Framtidsverket was among the earliest adopters of the Virtual Days platform and has played a key role in its ongoing development and enhancement. Like most of our clients, we tailored the platform to suit Framtidsverket’ s needs, crafting a unique exterior for their fairs according to their specifications. Over the years, Framtidsverket has consistently updated their virtual space to align with the latest trends and designs. They have incorporated features such as presenters and video avatars, along with customizable branding that they can refresh at their convenience. The matching technology is used to match candidates with hiring exhibitors, creating a more tailored experience for the candidates. Recruiters can view the candidates resumes and directly see which candidates are interesting and can contact them via chat, video, or request an interview. The option to pre-book interviews with candidates is also used, as well as live sessions.

The digital solutions ensure reaching a broader audience across the entire country, and even beyond. This not only leads to cost savings and increased revenue but also contributes to reducing carbon emissions.
Since its launch last fall, Virtual Career Days has rapidly become Sweden’s largest digital career event. Over the past year, more than 25,000 students and recent graduates have registered their profiles in the platform. Virtual Career Days has assisted over 100 clients in identifying and recruiting future talents through chat, video, and speed interviews. As of today, over 85,656 messages have been exchanged between employers and job seekers, resulting in over 14,700 job applications submitted during the events. An impressive 9 out of 10 exhibitors recommend the event to others.
